Sikkim is a small mountain state in eastern Himalayas. Sikkim is located in the north-eastern part of the country. Sikkim is the one of the most popular tourist’s destination in India. It is the least populous state in India and the second-smallest in area after Goa.Sikkim is the 22nd state of India came into existence with effect from 26th April, 1975. Sikkim has been divided into four districts and each district has further been bifurcated into two sub-divisions for administrative purpose. Sikkim state being a part of inner mountain ranges of Himalayas is hilly having varied elevation ranging from 300 to 8540 meters. The world's third highest peak Mount Kangchendzonga (8686 m) is located in the North Western part of the state. Sikkim has more than 10 peaks that reach a height of 6000 meters or more. Gangtok,Sikkim's capital is located in the South Eastern part of the state.Gangtok is situated at an altitude of 1780 m and has a population of approximately 50 000. Sikkim is a dream that one can realize and enjoy,now that the area is open to all. It is a state cloaked in the mystery of remoteness, and far away from the din and bustle of the modern world. In north Sikkim, one can visit Changthang (the origin of the river Teesta), Yumthang (140 km from Gangtok), the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary (137 km from Gangtok), and the Kanchanjunga National Park. In the eastern part of the state, one can visit the capital Gangtok. Other sites in eastern Sikkim are The Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, White Hall, Ridge Garden, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Rumtek Dharma Chakra Center, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, the Fambong La Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary. In west Sikkim one can see the Rabdentseruins, Pelling, and the former capital Yuksom. South Sikkim is famous for trekking and offers some of the best treks in the region. Day 01: Bagdogra

On arrival at IXB/NJP and transfer to Darjeeling (55 kms), once the summer capital of India; Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Darjeeling Local sightseeing

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak),Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day best point local sightseeing covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N.Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center. After that visit Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Darjeeling to Gangtok

Morning after breakfast transfer to Gangtok (117 kms) at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Early morning after breakfast departure to Gangtok Local Sightseeing covering 10 points, Including Rumtek, Botanical Garden Shanti Viewpoint, Chorten stupa, Tibetology, Bhanjhakri Water Falls, Nam Nam Viewpoint, Ropeway, Enchey Monestry, Flower Show. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast trip to Tsomgo lake (12400 ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok City, the oval shaped lake is almost about 1 Km long, and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, after that visit 18 kms from the Lake Baba Mandir, (Temple of disappeared army personal) and back to Gangtok. Stay overnight in Gangtok hotel.

Day 06: Gangtok – Bagdogra (IXB)/ NJP

Morning, transfer to IXB/NJP (120 kms). Tour ends.

  • The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300 hrs and the standard check-out time is 1000 hrs.
  • Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost.
  • The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Travelspro will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation done from the booking date till seven days prior to the departure date, charges is thirty percent of the package cost.
  • Cancellation done from three days to seven days prior to the departure date, charges is fifty percent of the package cost.
  • Cancellation done twenty four hours to three days prior to departure date, charges are seventy five percent of the packages cost
  • Cancellation done less than twenty four hours prior to the departure date, charges are hundred percent of the package cost
