Kothi is situated on the Lahaul-Spiti-Leh Highway 12 km from Manali on the Keylong road. Kothi grants fantastic views of the surrounding landscape, and the Beas river flows through a very deep and narrow gorge in this region. In the earlier days Kothi was used as a camping place by trekkers climbing the 13,400 ft Rohtang Pass. But now this place can be approached by bus, jeep or pony. P W D Rest House is also available for the tourists to spend the night.
