Manipur is situated in the eastern-most corner of Northeast India. The word Manipur is derived from two words, “Mani” meaning ‘Jewel’ and “Pur” meaning “City or place”. Manipur is a state in North East India which became a fully fledged state in March 1972. The state is surrounded with natural beauty. It is known as “Switzerland of India”.The climate is pleasant and is a major tourist destination in India.The Barak River is the largest river in Manipur. The capital city of Manipur is Imphal. The state shares borders with other north-eastern states of Nagaland, Mizoram and Assam and the neighboring country of Myanmar. Due to its wealth of flora and fauna, Manipur is described as a ‘flower on lofty heights’, ‘a jewel of India’ and ‘Switzerland of the East’. Its breath-taking scenic beauty makes it a tourist’s paradise. Manipur has the advantage of acting as India's 'Gateway to the East'through Moreh town, which is the only feasible land route for trade between India and Myanmar and other Southeast Asian countries. Manipur is one of India's largest bamboo producing states and a major contributor to the country's bamboo industry. Manipur has the highest number of handicrafts units as well as the highest number of craft persons comprising skilled and semi-skilled artisans in the entire north-eastern region. Hand loom is the largest cottage industry in Manipur and the state ranks among the top five in terms of the number of looms in the country. Manipur is the first state in India to have set up the 4-core infrastructure of the National e-Governance Plan,namely Common Service Centre, State Wide Area Network, State Data Centre and State Portal, State Service Delivery Gateway and e-forms.

Day 1: Arrival Imphal
Assistance on arrival and then transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Kangla fort and Ima Market and Stay overnight at hotel in Imphal.

Day 2: Imphal-Loktak-Imphal
Full day sightseeing –Govindajee Temple, Loktak lake (largest freshwater lake in north east), INA Memorial (Indian tri color was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army),Japanese War Memorial, War Cemetery. Stay overnight at hotel in Imphal.

Day 3: Imphal-Moreh- Imphal
Leave early in the morning to visit the Indo-Myanmar Border Town of Moreh. On reaching there you will cross over to the Myanmar side to see altogether a different culture and lifestyle of Tamu. There you will make a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market, then spend some time in the Nampha long market. Return back to Imphal and stay overnight at hotel in Imphal.

Day 4: Imphal-Andro-Kakching-Imphal
Morning go for a day trip to Andro Cultural Village. Visit the Cultural Heritage Complex. Here the practice of fire worshiping is still continued in the Temple of Panam Ningthou. It is prepared in turn by every house-hold member of the village. The community of Andro has occupied a major portion in the map of traditional pot making culture.They still preserve the traditional rituals and norms relating to the process of pot making. Moreover, the villagers are nature loving people and always maintain a good relation with nature to keep a pollution free ecosystem. In brief, you can call the village as the living heritage village. Interact with the villagers and see pottery making.Later proceed to Kakching Garden before finally returning back to Imphal and stay overnight at hotel in Imphal.

Day 5: Depart Imphal
Morning after breakfast transfer to Airport. Tour ends.

  • All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, it will be switched off in the hills.
  • The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300 hrs and the standard check-out time is 1000 hrs.
  • Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost.
  • The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Travelspro will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  • In case of non-availability of above mentioned hotels similar category hotel will be provided.

  • Any personal expenses like tips to waiters, drivers, laundry, alcoholic drinks, telephonic calls etc.
  • Entry fees, camera fees to the monuments
  • Any Loss / expenses incurred by unforeseen circumstances e.g. flight delays/cancellations, road blockage, vehicle breakdown strikes etc.
  • Any other things which are not mentioned in the Inclusions.

  • Per person rates (Rs) - applicable on 2 persons staying together sharing the same room.
  • GST 9% service taxes extra.
  • Transportation provided will be as per itinerary only (not at disposal)
  • The package does not include guide services where not mentioned; same can be availed at an additional cost.
  • Entrance charges anywhere are not included
  • Rates applicable for Indian Nationals only. Non Indian Nationals may avail the same package after inquiring about the applicable rate.
  • Package rates are subject to change without prior notice
  • The package cannot be combined with any other offer
  • Refund on cancellation strictly depends upon concerned hotel's cancellation policy
  • The above package is not valid during national holidays, festivals & long weekends

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation done from the booking date till seven days prior to the departure date, charges is thirty percent of the package cost.
  • Cancellation done from three days to seven days prior to the departure date, charges is fifty percent of the package cost.
  • Cancellation done twenty four hours to three days prior to departure date, charges are seventy five percent of the packages cost
  • Cancellation done less than twenty four hours prior to the departure date, charges are hundred percent of the package cost
