ITINERARY

DAY 1: DELHI - NAINITAL (360 KMS/10 HOURS APPROX)

On arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, proceed directly for Nainital by road. Upon arrival in Nainital, check-in to the hotel. After relaxing for a while, proceed for sightseeing tour beginning with boating at the famous Naini Lake and a visit to the holy Naina Devi temple. Thereafter, visit famous picnic spots like Naina Peak, Snow View and Lands End etc. In the evening, enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Return the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 2: NAINITAL

After enjoying breakfast, proceed for Hanumangarh, a famous religious center and a beautiful picnic spot. Later, proceed for an exciting lake tour to visit the three beautiful lakes; Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal & Sattal, situated at a distance of 5 to 8 kms from each other and known for their scenic beauty and lovely surroundings. Boating is permitted here. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: NAINITAL - RANIKHET (67 KMS/ 3 HOURS APPROX)

After enjoying breakfast, proceed for Ranikhet. Upon arrival in Ranikhet, check-in to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Chaubatia Garden and Jhoola Devi Ka Mandir. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the Hotel.

Ranikhet Inn is located near Gandhi Chowk near the Mall in Ranikhet. The hotel is 380 km from New Delhi. The nearest railway station is at Kathgodam Railway Station about 90 km away.

Rooms
The hotel offers a range of well furnished rooms divided into Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Family rooms. The rooms are equipped with a satellite television, telephone and room heater (on request). The washrooms have hot and cold water supply. Room service is also available in the hotel.

THE PAVILLION

Ever heard of the adage old is gold? About 50 years old, The New Pavillion is probably one of the oldest hotels in Nainital. Located in one of the higher roads of Nainital, this hotel has a very strong appeal of the British Era, which is still resplendent in its walls, roof, balcony and in the corridors. Built in wood originally, it has undergone many stages of renovation, but has successfully managed to retain its old fervour. The wooden floors, the design of the bed, wardrobe and the doors and windows is reminiscent of the hotel's age old lineage of service.

Rooms
A conglomeration of New Wing and Old Wing today, The New Pavillion houses a total of 36 rooms divided into Deluxe rooms (5), Standard Rooms (16), Standard Family Suite (4) and Deluxe Family Suite (7) Set in an old fashion, the Deluxe family Suite is a combination of two bedrooms in succession, the first room complete with 2 sofa chairs and a centre table, phone, cabinet and full length mirror. The second bedroom has a satellite television, study desk in addition to the other facilities. There are two bathrooms, located at the far end of the second bedroom. Both the bathrooms have shower cubicles with amenities like soap, toilet paper and towels. The Standard family Suite is the same as above in terms of structure, services and facilities, except the fact that the second bedroom has an additional sofa set and a unique fireplace. The Standard room is big with carpeted wooden floors and satellite television, telephone, luggage rack, open cupboard, full length mirror and an elevated alcove kind of an area with seating arrangement. The bathroom is in the same level as the seating area. The Deluxe room is ideal for smaller groups with a separate drawing cum dining area. The drawing room has the luggage rack and a full length mirror and a sofa set made beautiful by huge windows. The bedroom is simple with a cupboard, writing table, bed and bedside table and reading lamps. The bathroom is as big as the drawing room with a bath tub and shower area with amenities like soap and towels.

Dining
The restaurant is as quaint as the rest of the hotel with beautiful stained glass painting complementing an artwork of stained glass covering one of the walls. Another wall full with hand prints adds a tangent modern touch to the place. With 45 guest seating capacity here, it is a delight to savour the delicious Indian and Chinese cuisines prepared by the master chefs.

Facilities
Apart from the regular room, laundry and housekeeping service available, The New Pavillion has a mini golf course at some distance from the hotel. Besides this, the hotel organizes for games and activities for the guests like tambola. The hotel can organise car rental or sightseeing trips for you, from an external vendor. There is a conference hall here, a comfortable looking place, carpeted and decorated with life size bone china vases and antique furniture. Capable of accommodating around 60 people, the hotel arranges for all secretarial services that goes into hosting a successful business conference or meeting.
