ITINERARY

DAY 1: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT-DARJEELING (90 KM/3-4 HRS)
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and then proceed to Darjeeling. Known as the 'Queen of
the Hills', Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent hill stations in the world.
Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure followed by dinner and
overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: DARJEELING
Drive to Tiger Hill before dawn at 3.30 am and watch the breathtaking sunrise over
the Kanchenjunga Ranges. Visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery on way back to your
hotel followed by a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the visit to Himalayan
Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetian
Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view) followed by dinner and
overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: DARJEELING-GANGTOK (115 KM/4-5 HRS)
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel followed by transfer to Gangtok (the capital of Sikkim) via Peshok Tea Gardens along the river Teesta. Check-in at the hotel
on arrival and relax for the rest of the day. You can also explore the Mall on your
own. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel to follow.

DAY 4: GANGTOK
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of
Gangtok. Visit the Institute of Tibetology, Rumtek Monastery, Shanti View Point,
Botanical Garden and Droul Chorthen. Spend the evening at leisure on independent
activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel to follow.

DAY 5: GANGTOK (EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE)
After breakfast, enjoy a full day excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake). Visit
Baba Mandir and return to Gangtok. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel to follow.

DAY 6: GANGTOK-BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (130 KM/5 HRS)
Enjoy a morning to yourself for packing and personal activities. After breakfast
proceed to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey and bring your holiday to a
memorable end.
